Haphazard Stuff's Superhero Series

The Incredible Hulk (1977)

Haphazard Stuff's Superhero Series, Movies, Reviews

Marvel Comics’ answer to Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde – The Incredible Hulk, comes smashing onto primetime television!

While doing some tinkering in his lab Dr. David Banner gets a little sloppy and gets exposed to a high dose of gamma radiation. He seems to be fine, until…..he gets angry, which brings about the biggest, strongest, greenest, most famous alter-ego ever!

Banner

Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno star as Dr. Banner and The Incredible Hulk. Despite being continually on the run from a pesky, determined reporter (Jack Colvin) and desperately trying to find a cure for his monster, Banner always finds the time
to help out the weekly guest star every episode. It’s a sure bet he’ll be losing his temper at some point and Ferrigno will show up and cause some destruction.

Filled with miles of ripaway wardrobe, a lot of slo-mo action and one of the saddest superhero themes ever made, I check out the 1977 television movie pilot that kicked off the series.
