The Boys Season One isn’t better or worse than the comic from which it spawned. It’s just a very different, very enjoyable, beast with a ton of potential.
The bad guy is alive, talking smack, so Kennex shoots him in the fucking face. With no repercussions. Without even a single mention. Then the boys go out for beers and hopefully some cheap cop groupies.
And then we're off into our new totally sincere and cynicism-free adventure, taking Riddick back to the basics in what is an action-packed showcase for Diesel.
