With every episode that passes, I’m more and more convinced that this should have been structured like a traditional series with more than nine episodes.
“Long, Long Time” is probably going to be a highlight of The Last of Us, despite working with unknown characters and sidestepping the main concept of the show.
There are enough plot threads left dangling to give us a good launching point for a future second season, but if that doesn’t happen, All of Us Are Dead can stand as a solid one-and-done.
All of Us Are Dead proves that even though some audiences might be tired of zombies, with enough creative talent there are always opportunities to tell compelling and entertaining stories.
