Allison Mattern is a high school English teacher who shamelessly loves reality television. She's a dog person, but owns three cats because she's lazy and they're easier to take care of. It feels weird to say this about the penultimate episode leading up to whatâs bound to be a bloody and violent meeting with The Beast, but this episode was a lot of fun.
This was a perfect episode in every way, adding even more depth and layers to the narrative- now we not only have a villain, but we have a villain with a creation story that we are interested in unraveling.
This episode of The Magicians featured a pair of particularly violent deaths, one to a furry friend that was extremely NOT humorous in the vein of cancer puppy, and one to a character that I didnât expect.
I mean, you can say that itâs a show about men and these particular men and how they treat the women in their lives--but that also has nothing to do with random, prolonged boob shots.
