While some slasher fans argue that Curse of Chucky is an abomination to the franchise, it is my favorite Chucky movie ever.

Scream 4 (2011) has a warm, flannel-covered 90’s feel with the original Scream cast members.

In this 2010 remake, A Nightmare Elm St follows supernatural child-killer, Freddy Krueger as he stabs his way through eternity.

The Final Girls is the perfect, raunchy Halloween movie. So be brave and give this movie a chance.

I watched SAW because I would literally rather watch torture porn then cry through a Wes Craven movie. And as it happens, SAW did not suck.

So as a strong influence for Scream and a slasher that breaks the rules, Friday the 13th remains one of my favorites.
