Some of the early reviews talked a lot about this being one of those slow burn kind of horror movies, which gave me higher expectations than I'd had for, say, The Nun.
In THE CONJURING 2, we witness Burgess' mastery of the camera as a storytelling tool, doing much to scare the shit out of us with a simple pan or tilt.
