For much of Season Two, and the last few episodes in particular, the main character of Better Call Saul has seen his role marginalized to bit player status.
Supergirl’s 15th episode, “Solitude,” is full of Easter Eggs and gifts for comic book fans, but still clings incessantly to the love triangle it created.
There’s nothing like a good bottle story to ratchet up the tension and really test the mettle of all involved and The Expanse features a great one in “The Big Empty.”
This is all about Daryl, and Denise's amazing speech about strength, courage, and love is lost to the shock value of making sure Daryl suffers for the weakness of sympathy.
Critics who call this discussion simplistic or one-note are totally missing the point, not only about Daredevil, but about the entire concept of heroism.
This was a perfect episode in every way, adding even more depth and layers to the narrative- now we not only have a villain, but we have a villain with a creation story that we are interested in unraveling.
Better Call Saul has done tons to elevate the entire cast (just as I had hoped) however the next five episodes must delve deeper into the Jimmy to Saul transition.
Overall, this episode reminded me why I am a fan and I felt my own love of the Muppets being rekindled just as Miss Piggy and Kermit’s relationship flirted with its own sparks!
