Spider-Man: No Way Home is not the best Spider-Man movie, in the MCU or prior, but it’s a rollicking adventure that will play like catnip for fans of the series and has some of the strongest moments of any web-slinging blockbuster.
Director Scott Derrickson takes viewers to inner space, to a dimension far behind our mystic ken, in which a lone man is forced to confront a baddie so mystically bizarre that he doesn’t even have a body.
After the origin heavy lifting is taken care of that’s when Doctor Strange becomes everything I could hope for; namely, a highly imaginative action movie with a breakneck pace and a boundless sense of imagination.
