I Am a Hero tells the story of an extremely average man, slaving away as an assistant background illustrator for a successful ongoing manga, who manages to become a hero when the zombie apocalypse takes place.
There are enough plot threads left dangling to give us a good launching point for a future second season, but if that doesn’t happen, All of Us Are Dead can stand as a solid one-and-done.
All of Us Are Dead proves that even though some audiences might be tired of zombies, with enough creative talent there are always opportunities to tell compelling and entertaining stories.
