I loved the cinematography in so much of this that I can tell you I’ll definitely watch it again just to enjoy and maybe even learn a little bit from some of the angles and setups used
Overall, certainly a film worth watching and viewers who do take the journey will be treated to a great visual experience with some satisfying, brutal kills.
Despite this, del Toro continues to be an inspiration visually and imaginatively, creating films that are distinctly original and visually stunning, every time the lights go down and the screen lights up.
For Women in Horror Month, I couldn’t think of a greater example of a female-driven film than The Slumber Party Massacre, written by Rita Mae Brown and directed by Amy Holden Jones.
